My 10 Rules for Customer Centered Service:

  1. Call back when promised.
  2. Listen; seek to understand.
  3. Clearly explain what causes the problem and how I can help.
  4. Tell my customer what they can do to avoid further problems.
  5. Let my customer know what I can do to help them.
  6. If I cannot help, let my customer know who and what phone numbers they can call.
  7. Use appropriate tone, grammar and words.
  8. Treat my customer fairly and respectfully.
  9. Show empathy and let my customer know how much I care.
  10. Demonstrate accuracy, reliability and responsiveness in all I do.

Providing good customer service is always the right thing to do.
