My 10 Rules for Customer Centered Service:
- Call back when promised.
- Listen; seek to understand.
- Clearly explain what causes the problem and how I can help.
- Tell my customer what they can do to avoid further problems.
- Let my customer know what I can do to help them.
- If I cannot help, let my customer know who and what phone numbers they can call.
- Use appropriate tone, grammar and words.
- Treat my customer fairly and respectfully.
- Show empathy and let my customer know how much I care.
- Demonstrate accuracy, reliability and responsiveness in all I do.
Providing good customer service is always the right thing to do.
